  1.   WindowMagic is a utility that will let you easily assign an Icon to 
  2.   Program Mangers group icons as well as a group application icons.
  3.   
  4.   This product is not freeware.  It requires the user to pay a registration
  5.   fee in order to continue use.  The receiver of the software is granted a 
  6.   limited 90 day evaluation licenses. Copyright 1992 WindowMagic. All

  9.   Installation

  12.   1) Copy the WM.EXE file into your windows directory 
  13.  
  14.         COPY WM.EXE C:\WINDOWS\*.*
  15.  
  16.   2) Unzip the WM.EXE file by running it
  17.         
  18.         WM.EXE [RETURN]
  19.  
  20.  
  21.   3) Start Windows and from the program manager [File] endtr [Run] SYSEDIT
  22.  
  23.   4) Select the Win.ini file
  24.   
  25.   5) Add WMDRIVER.EXE to the run= line 
  26.         run=WMDRIVER.EXE or run=otherprogams WMDRIVER.EXE
  27.   
  28.   6) WindowMagic assumes a default directory of C:\WINDOWS.  If your default
  29.      directory is different then change the two lines in the wm.ini file to
  30.      reflect your correct windows directory path.

  32.   7) Finally quit and restart windows to activate program.

  36.   WindowMagic uses a simple drag and drop interface.  To use the utility
  37.   select the [File] item from the program managers menu.  You will notice 
  38.   additional items on the menu

  40.   1. Select [Open Palette]
  41.         You will be presented with a dialogue box that will allow you to 
  42.         select a EXE or DLL program (Select PROGMAN.EXE)
  43.  
  44.   2. A palette of icons that are stored in the program will be presented.
  45.      Simply click and hold the left mouse button when the cursor is over an 
  46.      icon you wish to use. Now drag the icon over a program manager group or
  47.      application icon and release.  (The cursor will change from a circle 
  48.      with a slash to a BW icon when it is over a valid program manager icon.)
